Staff in the Conference Office at Robinson College Cambridge are celebrating being shortlisted for one of this year’s coveted Conference Awards.
The College is through to the last eight in the ‘Best Venue Customer Service ’ category in the Conference Awards 2013, the only academic venue in the listing.
The entry required Robinson to meet a wide range of criteria: its commitment to innovation, new customer service initiatives and its successes over the last 12 months which include an increase in positive client feedback with over 95% rating their experience as ‘excellent’ and achieving a higher percentage in its AIM Silver assessment.
The annual Conference Awards celebrate and reward excellence in the conference industry. This year they will be presented at a lunch on Friday 7th June hosted by BAFTA award-winning stand up comedienne Jo Brand at the Brewery in London.
Nick Milne, Catering & Conference Manager at Robinson said: “The last 12 months has been a record year for us and to be shortlisted for the Conference Awards further highlights our progress in a number of areas. Not only do we have excellent facilities here for all types of events which is evidenced by clients returning year after year but we also have a highly professional team, all of whom go the extra mile to ensure that each event is a success”.
