Olympia London is delighted to announce the return of the London International Wine Fair in 2014. The show returns after a 13-year hiatus and brings with it a new name and fresh proposition for both exhibitors and visitors.
The event, which will become known once more as the London Wine Fair, will take place in the Olympia National between 2nd – 4th June 2014 and seeks to reinforce its position as the national wine event for the world’s leading import market; essentially, Britain’s festival of wine.
“There has been much speculation over a possible venue change for next year’s show, and we are pleased to now be able to announce the move back to Olympia. We have listened to both current and past exhibitors and also our visitor audience and the majority consensus is that this will be a better venue. Moving to Olympia will mean a refreshed show and a sense of returning to its roots. Olympia will allow for faster travel times for exhibitors and visitors coming in from Heathrow and Gatwick and for UK trade professionals. Its central location will deliver a sense of community through a greater ability for evening socialising. In short, the move will inject personality back into the Wine Fair,” said Ross Carter, event director.
The show will also use Olympia’s newly renovated spaces, Olympia West and Olympia Central. During 2011 and 2012 the venue invested £30m in creating greater flexibility within these spaces and allowing them to interconnect like never before.
