The UK’s largest group in commercial horseracing has confirmed it will exhibit at The Meetings Show UK, 9th – 11th July 2013. Jockey Club Venues is the conference and events arm of The Jockey Club, the umbrella company comprising 15 of the finest racecourses in the country.
Jockey Club Venues will look to engage with The Meetings Show UK’s impressive list of 1,500 influential hosted buyers from theUK inbound and outbound meetings industry, making up over 4,000 expected visitors to the show.
Located at Stand D17 at Olympia, London, the group will be communicating the perks of holding conferences, meetings and events at its portfolio of racecourses, which collectively have the capacity to seat nine times more people than The Royal Albert Hall and offer a range of suites ranging from private boxes to spacious halls.
Susie Bradshaw, conference and events manager at Jockey Club Venues’ Cheltenham Racecourse, said: “At most of our venues, racing takes place on only 30 days of the year, allowing us to stage meetings and other non-racing events for the majority of the year. We see this as an extremely important part of our business mix, as it helps us generate profits to re-invest into our facilities. Exhibiting at The Meetings Show UK is one way we can help widen our reputation within the event industry.”
