DB Systems has signed a three-year deal with Clarion Events to be its sole audiovisual supplier for all its UK events – around 21 events each year.
The contract will include a variety of B2B and consumer events, including Top Gear Live, Pulse and Top Drawer and the Destinations series of events.
DB will be responsible for supplying exhibitors with a wide variety of systems, from top of the range interactive technologies and LED screens, to PA systems and tablets. In addition, DB could also offer exhibitors its ecoXpress technology, which helps companies save money and reduce their environmental footprint by removing the need for printed material at exhibitions.
Oliver Richardson, DB’s sales and marketing director, said: “We have had an excellent working relationship with Clarion for many years. I believe we won this contract not just because of our ability to provide the AV systems, but because of our service and expertise in providing solutions for exhibitors by matching the correct AV depending on their event needs. This three-year contract also demonstrates Clarion’s confidence in our business and ability to deliver a high quality service over successive years. DB is a financially stable company and able to invest in long-term commitments.”
Alan Carroll, head of procurement at Clarion Events, said: ““Clarion Events Limited are pleased to confirm that, following a thorough and robust tender process, DB Systems have been appointed as its UK supplier for AV equipment and associated services. We look forward to working in partnership with DB Systems for many years to come and believe this exclusive deal demonstrates our confidence in their ability to deliver at the highest level.”
Kellie Reynolds, operations director at Clarion Events said: “Clarion Events is very pleased to have signed this AV contract with DB Systems, a company that has proved to be consistently focused in its aim to deliver a first class service to our exhibitors. In addition, DB’s staff have a friendly, can-do attitude, which is why we enjoy working with them throughout the entire event process. We look forward to introducing some of the innovative ideas DB presented during the tender process and to supporting them in further enhancing the service and value they offer to our exhibitors.”
