The Event Production Show 2013 has been selected as a finalist for this year’s AEO Excellence Awards in the Best Trade Show under 2000sqm category. The award is open to any trade exhibition (UK & International under 2000sqm) held in the last 12 months. The award is judged on commercial success, visitor numbers, show content and specific market conditions.
Event Production Show’s first outing under the ownership of Mash Media was hailed a great success with visitor numbers increasing by 14% from the 2012 event. A renewed focus on content, a fresh layout in Olympia’s National Hall and access to Mash’s database delivered 3332 visitors on 5th and 6th February..
With more than 70% of last year’s exhibitors re-booked, new exhibitors already confirmed, as well as plans for innovative content underway, the Event Production Show 2014 will undoubtedly build upon the successes of 2013.
“The entire team worked tirelessly to make the show a resounding success,” said EPS event director Duncan Siegle. “To receive industry recognition in our first year is remarkable. We now have a fantastic platform to develop and grow the 2014 show, which will move to a larger venue in Earls Court.”
“Winning the AEO Excellence Award would reflect the amazing achievement of turning around the fortunes of an ailing show and making it a resounding success.”
The Awards will be held on 21 June at Old Billingsgate, London.
