Aztec Event Services has just completed a major procurement project to upgrade and refresh its large stock of audio-visual equipment, giving it a greater capacity and capability to deliver event AV, and to do it with greater clarity and quality than ever before.
Top of Aztec’s shopping list were large venue projectors and they have added some new Roadster HD14K-M projectors from Christie to their fleet of HD projectors. Boasting 1080p resolution and class leading image quality they offer 13,500 Lumens of brightness in a compact, lightweight package with low power consumption. Since delivery the new units have hardly been off the road with excellent feedback from Aztec’s Project Managers and clients alike.
Aztec has also significantly expanded its stock of Full HD (FHD) screens in the 32” to 55” range which will be used for organiser and exhibitor displays. Increasingly, exhibitors are demanding FHD displays to show their content of to the full, and these screens will help to satisfy that growing demand.
In order to use all these output devices to their maximum Aztec has invested in more video processors to allow for a fully digital signal path from source to display, including HD switching from Analog Way. The audio department has been bolstered with the addition of Turbosound NuQ-6 loudspeakers along with mixers, amplifiers and sound processing hardware from the likes of Soundcraft and Yamaha. The compact NuQs are destined to create crystal clear sound reproduction in the challenging audio environment of show floor seminars and presentation areas.
In response to exhibitors’ increasing awareness of the aesthetics of show-floor technology, Aztec has purchased more Apple iMac computers. Specifically holding out for the new 2013 edition, this new LED version positively exudes style and panache, whilst retaining the power and functionality to cope with any computing task thrown at them.
