JNTO hold “Muslim tourism seminar” on May 17

Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) will hold “Muslim tourism seminar” in Shinagawa Prince Hotel on May 17.

There will be a lecture about how to attract Muslim tourists to Japan, focusing on Indonesia and Malaysia, which inbound tourism parties are paying close attention.

JNTO will also explain about recent traveling trends in Muslim tourists, and both Indonesian and Malaysian tourism companies will explain about the characteristics of Muslin tourists.

This seminar is a part of the “Plan to attract 1 million people to Japan from South Eastern Asia,” to attract more tourists to Japan by Japan Tourism Agency and JNTO, in accordance to the 40th anniversary of intercourse between Japan and ASEAN.
