Japan Association of Professional Congress Organizers (JAPCO) held the annual meeting and special seminar on May 24 at Hotel Nikko Tokyo. There were over 90 participants from about 50 companies and organizations.
Hirotake Chikanami, secretary general, who is also the CEO of Japan Convention Services Inc., addressed to kick off the meeting. He reviewed the preceding year of 2012 with the achievements: the membership increased to 90 parties from 60, international affiliations made with the counterparties in Korea and Singapore, and enhanced educations including the seminor held in Sendai as well.
