Moving Venue has spread its wings across the Channel for the Paris Air Show, taking place from 17th to 23rd June 2013 at Le Bourget airport.
The 50th Paris Air Show will bring together the aeronautical industry’s key players to showcase the latest technological innovations in civil and military aircraft. Over 2,113 exhibitors from 144 countries will be in situ, with 151,000 trade visitors anticipated to attend.
Moving Venue will once again be managing hospitality pavilions for some of the world’s major aerospace companies, including civil and military helicopter suppliers, along with providers of components and systems for aircraft engines and airframes.
A team of 62 people, headed by Moving Venue’s director Matthew Quarendon, are in Paris to cater and manage the front office operations of showcase hospitality suites and exhibition pavilions. Logistical planning for the event started in November 2012.
Moving Venue boasts a long relationship with the aerospace sector dating back to 1992. The caterer has worked on airshows in Paris, Dubai and Singapore and is again confirmed to manage hospitality programs at Farnborough Airshow on 14th-20th July 2014.
Moving Venue’s managing director, Richard Beggs, said, “We have seen a marked increase in the number of companies who are employing our services, many of which have been short-lead confirmations. The feedback that we are getting is that clients want to work with a caterer that understands the needs of this sector and in particular the logistics of working in a greenfield site overseas.”
