His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales attended Business in the Community’s (BITC) ‘Big Connect’ event held at Islington’s Business Design Centre (BDC) earlier today. Speaking to members of the business, voluntary and local authority communities the Prince showed appreciation to “Business Connectors” within supporting companies.
The Business Connector scheme aims to involve businesses in their local communities to help make improvements, maximising the skill-sets of members of staff to help where challenges are faced. In attendance at the BDC today are over 1,000 members of the business community including many who are already involved in the project.
