CPA has submitted the policy proposal to the Japan Tourism Agency

Convention Planners Association of Japan has submitted, to the Japan Tourism Agency, the policy proposal intended to establish the close relationships between the convention industry and the government policy.

The proposal was summarized by referring to not only positioning the convention industry at the center of MICE but also various policies are supporting efforts of the convention industry in foreign countries where convention is positioned as the industry of collecting information which promotes development of other industry.

Major Agenda of Proposal:
1)Establishing the opportunity and places for exchanging opinions commonly with the persons from the convention industry
2)Research study on the foreign government’s MICE policies
3)Enhancing the relationships with the governmental financial institutions
