Japan Tourism Agency announced transfer of personnel on July 1. Mr. Hiroyuki Uchida who is in charge of tourism economy of the Agency took the position of counselor in charge of MICE.
He served in the Foreign Ministry as the first secretary of Japanese embassy in Canada, counselor of representative section of Japanese government of the European Union and director of service trading room at international trading section at economy department.
Since 2012, he has been serving as counselor in Japan Tourism Agency. By taking advantage of his experience while he was in the Foreign Ministry, he is expected to work energetically in reinforcing invitation of the international conferences by listening to opinion of participants.
