Registration has opened for this year’s Association of Event Venues AGM+, to be held at the Harrogate International Centre’s Queen’s Suite, September 11th 2013.
The 2012 AGM+ proved that the annual meeting could do much more than simply fulfil its legal obligations, and by strongly encouraging attendance, AEV turned the event into a successful peer to peer networking opportunity, and a chance to strengthen the sense of community amongst venues. Attendees will also be encouraged to attend a networking dinner the evening before the AGM+.
Chris Skeith, AEV director said, “AEV is a community that enjoys getting together via its various working groups with the aim of sharing and setting best practice all year round. The AGM+ is simply an extension and a celebration of all the groups hard work and commitment and a platform for each group to demonstrate to those who attend, the various achievements that have been made in the year running up to the AGM+”.
