Events service provider Showplans’ growth continues as the company has brought on a new designer to consolidate its floorplans department. Katie Bushell-Edwards has joined as Showplan Designer to assist with CAD floorplan design for the specialist Technical Showplans service, which boasts optimised use of floorspace and speedy turnaround times.
Katie has around 10 years of floor planning experience, as well as expertise in client liaison, site surveys and staff training, which she gained as an Event Floorplan Advisor at GES. Of her new role, Katie says “having honed my skills for several years I felt that my progression at GES had plateaued, so I am very excited to have this opportunity to step my floorplan design knowledge up another notch alongside the experts here at Showplans.” Richard Dove, Managing Director of Showplans, adds “Katie is a great coup for our team – she’s experienced, knowledgeable and as a fast learner she is adapting to the unique Showplans standard very quickly”.
