ENgenuity Exhibitions launches this week as the new project for experienced industry professionals Briony Gough and Emma Merry.
Concentrating on logistics for the global exhibition industry, the new venture will offer a complete logistics package covering exhibition services, health & safety and sponsorship fulfilment.
Founders Briony and Emma have worked across a variety of sectors including B2B and B2C industries and have 30 years of combined expertise. The vision behind ENgenuity is to enable existing and new exhibition managers to outsource their operational logistics to experts who offer efficient budget management and stress-free results.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Briony said: “We see a niche in the market for expert operations management within a bespoke package, tailor-made to fit each client. When it comes to exhibitions, one size definitely does not fit all – for us, we know we can deliver much more by listening to the client brief and creating an operations model to fit.”
“Creating a robust operations plan from the start offers the client both time and cost savings, as well as a model that can be rolled out across subsequent events. Plus ENgenuity always provide a detailed experience analytics report at the end of each event, which enables the client to see where changes can be made for the future – taking into account time to plan for natural changes that will occur in their industry and with the economic climate.”
ENgenuity has established solid working relationships with some of the top suppliers, designers and contractors, and is therefore able to avoid delays and unforeseen costs that so often occur when working with suppliers that have not been tried and tested.
Emma explained the ENgenuity approach to working with clients: “We very much like to see ourselves as part of the team. This enables us to work closely with all departments to ensure that we deliver what is needed. For example, working with objectives set by the Marketing team to drive traffic means that we ensure our floor plan represents their goals when deciding where to place features, catering, conference and seminar areas, thus maximising visitor impact.”
“We work closely with Sales, as we understand the effort that goes into attracting exhibitors and want to ensure optimum exhibitor retention for the future. So we take time to advise exhibitors how best to use their space effectively and showcase their product. We refer them to our tried and tested creative designers for stand design and we ensure any freight is transported seamlessly to their stand. Effectively we want exhibitors to feel that all they have to do is turn up and sell. Happy exhibitors return year after year.”
