The NEC will host the UK’s largest cleaning event, Cleaning Expo, on a biennial basis from 2015. The event, where key decision makers from across the industry will meet, buy and network, will take place from 24 – 26 March 2015.
Highlighting its position as the venue to launch, events that start out at the NEC have an average growth of 31% in their second year. In addition, as the venue of choice due to its unrivalled accessibility for visitors and exhibitors, the NEC is perfectly located within around three hours drive time of almost 90% of exhibitors to previous cleaning events in Birmingham.
“The 2015 Cleaning Expo, which will include the Healthcare Hygiene Expo, the Street Cleaning Expo and a two day conference for the cleaning industry, promises to bring high quality decision makers together from a range of companies looking to place orders,” said Martin Scott, Exhibition Director at Fairweather Events.
“We’re expecting between 8,000 – 10,000 visitors to the event and the NEC’s accessibility was one of the critical factors for us in the decision making process. As well as easy car parking and almost 17,000 spaces on site, those travelling from further afield will benefit from the NEC’s physical connection to Birmingham International Airport and Birmingham International Railway Station.”
Sophie Lilly, NEC Account Director (Venue Sales), added: “Over 33,000 exhibitors and 1.8 million visitors come to the NEC each year, so we’re definitely the venue of choice. Evidence also points to the fact that events grow with us and we’re excited about the prospect of a successful launch for the Cleaning Expo which will we know at this venue will grow year on year.”
