Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation (MLIT) has announced the personnel shuffle effective on August 1 and inducted Mr. Kubo Shigeto as the Director-General of the Japan Tourism Agency.
Mr. Kubo started to work at Ministry of Transport in 1977. He held various positions at MLIT such as Director for Public Relations division of Minister’s Secretariat, Director for Maritime Industries Division of Maritime Bureau, Director for Trunk Railway Division of Railway Bureau, Counselor of Minister’s Secretariat (Personnel), Director for Personnel Division of the Minister’s Secretariat, Director-General for Administration Department of Civil Aviation Bureau, Senior Deputy-General of Railway Bureau, Vice Commandant of Coast Guard. Director-General of Railway Bureau. He had been indicted as Deputy Vice-Minister of Minister’s Secretariat since September, 2012.
Japan Tourism Agency has also announced the personnel reshuffles and Mr. Ishihara Dai has been inducted as Director for Tourism Industry Division from Director for Personnel Affairs of Minister’s Secretariat.
