Oasis Graphic Co is delighted to have produced a range of bespoke graphics for Red Door Events, which were unveiled at the HSBC Golf Zone at The Open Championship 2013 hosted at Muirfield. The HSBC Golf Zone comprised a wide variety of interactive activities which included a full-scale replica of the St Andrews’ infamous Road Hole Bunker and competitions on golf simulators with nearest the pin and longest drive prizes up for grabs.
A links golf course is a challenging location and after a round the clock production run with tight deadlines, Oasis’ installation teams worked a seven day installation schedule in the run up to the start of the Open.
Two teams of installation technicians installed a range of over 40 sets of graphics, from vinyl and self-adhesive wraps through to super-wide flat PVC graphics, each between 3m and 50m wide.
Oasis’ operations director Andy Delpech said, “We are delighted to see our handiwork on the coverage of the Open Championship. Being a links golf course, it was windy and this gave the installation teams a bit of a challenge but all the graphics were successfully installed and looked great. It was a great team effort from production to installation.”
