The Eventia Awards are now closed, but not before amassing another significant number of entries from across the Industry. Matching the number of submissions achieved last year creates a daunting task for the judges with competition across all categories remaining as keen as ever.
Andrew Wright, Chair of the Awards said, “We are delighted with the response we’ve had this year which just goes to show how highly valued these awards are by the industry. The competition this year will be fierce.”
The Eventia Awards honour outstanding business-to-business and business-to-consumer events overseas and in the UK, and is the key awards and networking night for the whole industry.
Judging takes place on the 19th September for the 22 awards from five category groups – event, supplier, project management, special categories, and the coveted Eventia Platinum Award. This year sees two new awards: ‘Event Organiser of the Year’ and ‘Low Cost Event Solution of the Year’.
Winning entrants will receive their much coveted ‘romeo’ accolades at the celebratory evening on Friday 22nd November at the London Hilton, Park Lane. To book tickets at the early-bird rate visit www.eventia.org.uk before 1st September.
Some sponsorship opportunities are still available and anyone interested in sponsoring an award category should contact Andrew Wright on 01225-436590 or by email at andrewwright@fab-1.org.uk.
Further details of the night will be released in due course including details of this year’s designated Charity.
