SSAT (The Schools Network) has chosen Manchester Central to host its 2013 national UK conference.
More than 800 school professionals will come together with some of education’s leading thinkers for the two-day conference on December 5-6. The conference will address some of education’s most pressing questions, including how to make our education system world class by recruiting, retaining and continually developing outstanding teachers, through all stages of their careers
The conference will also present ideas, practice and evidence from SSAT’s Redesigning Schooling campaign for a schools-led vision of education. It will be led by Accrington-born Professor Andy Hargreaves and Professor Michael Fullan, alongside a range of expert speakers and aims to shape the future of schooling in the UK.
The conference will make use of two of Manchester Central’s main areas, including its Exchange Hall, auditorium, a number of breakout rooms and two of its main foyer areas.
