Eight Feet Tall – a specialist marketing, media sales and sponsorship consultancy to the live event industry – has announced the appointment of Catherine Lucas as Head of Consultancy.
Catherine joins Eight Feet Tall from McCann, one of the world’s largest marketing consultancy networks; as Associate Director, she led a division – working at a global level – with some of the most respected brands in the leisure and retail industries.
Eight Feet Tall is part of the successful NEC Group and was recently launched on the back of demand for marketing and sponsorship services from existing promoters and organisers. Catherine will lead the agency team, delivering existing projects and handling new business.

With over 12 years experience in leading brand and marketing strategies, Catherine Lucas started her career within a public relations role for a global beauty and pharmaceutical brand, before progressing to a Regional Marketing Manager position for the largest automotive network in the UK.
With a secondment as a Marketing and CRM Manager for a leading international automotive brand, Catherine joined McCann as an Account Director, progressing to Associate Director.
Catherine joins a strong management team already in place at Eight Feet Tall, led by Managing Director Stuart Cain and Head of Commercial Media Sarah Whittaker.
