Global Experience Specialists (GES) has been awarded Investor in People status after an exhaustive assessment procedure carried out by EMB-Excellence. Investors in People is a business improvement tool administered by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, and core accreditation requires candidate companies to meet at least 39 evidence requirements. GES was able to exceed this threshold by meeting 45 evidence requirements, and was formally accredited on 13 September 2013.
In the evaluation and resulting report, GES was commended because its “well defined and well communicated vision provides focus, creates a sense of purpose and provides a measurement for success.” The report remarked positively upon GES’ emphasis on sustainability, social responsibility, transparency and its commitment to keeping employees at all levels engaged in continuous feedback and communication, resulting in a strong esprit de corps.
Katrina Rowbury, GES’ international human resources manager, expressed her satisfaction at the outcome, “Being accredited as an Investor in People recognises the incredible effort put in by everyone to create a positive, collaborative and supportive working environment. Our policy of continuous improvement was taken to heart by everyone, and the results have been amazing!”
