Visitors Welcome new Hospitality at The SECC

Following its opening last week (30th September), the newest addition to the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre (SECC), the Clyde Built Bar & Kitchen, has welcomed unprecedented numbers over its first seven days.

Enhancing the experience for conference delegates and exhibition visitors to a campus which already boasts three hotels and 500 bedrooms, the Clyde Built Bar & Kitchen will double as a pre event destination, and with views over to the new 12,000 seat SSE Hydro arena, the restaurant has already proven a hit with the mass of visitors passing through the site.

In its first week alone the restaurant has served:

–          Over 500 covers in the kitchen

–          Over 200kg of prime Scottish beef

–          40kg of fresh plum tomatoes for its Clyde Built pizzas

–          140 kegs of Beer

–          1800+ bottles of beer

–          1600+ bottles of wine

Developed and run by catering partners Levy Restaurants, the facility offers guests a tempting selection of dishes, many of which with a Scottish provenance.
