With the tailwind from the determination of the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic games in Tokyo, large-scale international conferences with more than 4,000 participants have been assigned to Japan in September 2 in Tokyo and another in Kyoto.
The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) attributes the success of inviting such many conferences to the well acknowledged invitation campaings conducted in nationally united cooperation by the organizers, academies, industries and the metropolitan government.
On the other hand, JNTO supported the campaign in cooperation with the Tourism Agency for official invitations to the prime minister of Japan and the JNTO exectives as well as for the visitations of important (the decision makers from the international organization).
