The Japan Tourism Agency (JTA) held the first ceremony for commissioning MICE promotion commission and appointing the MICE ambassadors on Dec. 9.
The JTA has appointed 8 MICE ambassadors who hold the influence and the human network for both domestic and overseas in the fields of the Japanese industrial circle and academic field for enhancing the MICE promotion competitiveness. The JTA expects them to be involved in the information drive and the promotion of MICE.
The JTA has presented the letter of appointment and the name card with logo of ambassador to the eight ambassadors respectively. The logo design represents the Japanese technological power that was created to express the Japanese rich four seasons by using the colorfulness of traditional craft Chiyogami and represented by the extreme precision of handcrafts making of the Origami.
