MPI Japan chapter held a “New Year’s greeting Meeting” at Roppongi Academy Hills in Tokyo on January 10. 157 key persons of MICE and related members joined, made a network and exchanged of information.
”There is also participation from Sapporo, Fukuoka, Okinawa, and Korea. This was greatest assembly in history. 70% of 20,000 MPI members are women in the world but the member of women has increased to 28% in MPI Japan chapter. So I want to contribute to further increase the number of women, the environmental improvement of the meeting industry by encouraging women’s power.” Ms. Makiko Yamamoto, chairman of this society, told of her ambitions.
