The Japan PCO Association held the “JAPCO 2014 New Year’s Party” on January 22nd at the Rihga Royal Hotel Tokyo in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Around 80 association members and affiliates attended.
Speaking as the chairman of the corporate executives, Mr. Kinnami Hirotake, the President of Japan convention services, introduced the Association’s activities such as exhibiting at the Korea MICE Expo in his opening remarks.
He also called for the creation of partnerships in order to bring about benefits to the MICE industry from the “Japan Revitalization Strategy”, the “Program of action for the realization of Japan as a tourist destination” and the Tokyo Olympics / Paralympics adopted by the Cabinet.
