International Conference Association (ICCA) has announced statistics of the number of international conference, which was held in the world in 2013 (provisional value).
According to that, the International conference, which was held in the world last year, was 11,685 and that was 529 more than the previous year. Among them, ones held in Japan was 342. It becomes the most numbers in Asia and Pacific region 2 year and raised from 8th to 7th in the world ranking.
The number decreased significantly from the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, but the international conference number of Japan regained upward trend last year and the year before last.
