Event market scale in 2013 reached to 1,514,440 million yen

Japan Association for the Promotion of Creative Events (JACE) has released the “Report on Event Market Scale Estimation in 2013.”

According to the report the trial calculation for the event market scale in 2013 was for 383, 740 million yen. This figure was estimated based on calculating expenses spent within the event venue from total expenses spent by visitors.

In addition, the event market scale in 2013 reached to 1,514,440 million yen when expanding the concept of expenses and summarizing various expenses spent for events including expenses for preparation to visit events, transportation, accommodation, and expenses spent outside of events venues, and post event expenses.
