On December 9th, Japan PCO (JAPCO) and Convention Planners Association of Japan (CPA) that are going to be integrated in June next year held an extraordinary general meeting and mid general meeting respectively. They explained the details of what they had discussed for establishment of a new organization to the members.
The new name of the organization is Japan Convention Management Association – JCMA.
In the evening on the day, the participants exchanged their opinions as their first joint event where members of the both companies and a number of those who are related to MICE gathered and developed their friendship.
In the meeting where they exchanged opinions, Mr. Hideo Bunbu who is a chairman of CPA and Mr. Hirotake Chikanami who is a director of Japan PCO exchanged the greeting where they were harmonized.
