Japan National Tourist Organisation (JNTO) has announced the estimated number of incoming and outgoing visitors of Japan in November.
According to the announcement, incoming visitors in November this year was 1,168,500 people which has a 39.1% increase from 839 891 people in the same month last year.
The total of the provisional number from January to September and the estimated number in October and November is 12,177,500 people which has a significant increase of 28.2% from 9,499,413 people in the same period last year.
Analysed by markets, South Korea, with 239,000 visitors to Japan, is the highest number in the first nine months. The second highest is 236,500 people from Taiwan and China follows with 207,500 visitors.
