On January 19, Japan Tourism Agency held the “5th Council of the Use and Promotion of Unique Venue” in its international conference room. The interim report on the “Survey on the development, use and promotion of the unique venue in 2014” have been made.
When international conferences and MICE were held, the cultural facilities, public space and so on are used, and a unique venue for the reception are actively used, which can make the MICE attraction more competitive. The survey is made for this purpose.
This year the survey target is spread out to the whole country and the facilities are spread out extensively to historic buildings, shrines, temples, an outdoor space and so on.
