International Welding Show 2022 aims to attract more than 120,000 visitors with its largest-ever exhibition

Organized by the Japan Welding Engineering Society and Sanpo Publicaions, Inc., Japan International Welding Show (JIWS) 2022 is set to be held in Tokyo Big Sight from July 13th to 16th, 2022.

The International Welding Show is one of Japan’s largest trade fairs for companies involved in welding.

The event takes place every second year, alternating between Tokyo and Osaka. Unfortunately, the Osaka show in 2020 has been cancelled due to the spread of the novel coronavirus.

JIWS 2022 the 27th and the largest ever show will be held throughout Halls 4 to 7.

Under the theme of “From Japan to the World: The DX Revolution in Welding, Joining and Cutting – The Manufacturing Process Innovation”, the show aims to attract more than 120,000 visitors.

In addition to the major forums on laser processing, steel-frame processing, non-destructive testing, and coating, an educational center will be showcasing the products by the leading manufacturers.

Applications for exhibitors has been already open, with the following rates for the Basic Unit Space 3.0 m (W)× 3.0 m (D)× 2.7 m (H):

Member Rate ¥319,000.- (tax incl.)
Early Bird Rate (Before Dec. 24, 2021) ¥330,000.- (tax incl.)
Standard Rates (After Dec. 25 2021) ¥352,000.- (tax incl.)
The deadline for the application is February 25th, 2022
