Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) have re-appointed UK based security company Showsec to supply crowd management and security services for events at the venue.
The successful tender by Showsec will see this three year contract effectively continuing the service provided to AECC by Showsec for the past three years.
Showsec has an international reputation for excellence, with over 2,500 professional staff servicing thousands of events at over 450 venues, managing the safety of over 25 million people and assisting their enjoyment at events each year.
The extension of the contract sees the service from Showsec continuing as AECC’s appointed security company, bringing a wealth of experience as well as a close working relationship fostered over a number of years of working together.
Steve Dyker, on-site Showsec security contract manager at AECC, said:
“We have a great working relationship with the venue and feel that we bring unrivalled experience at the variety and type of events held here. We are delighted to continue providing our service and look forward the continuation of working with AECC.”
Brian Horsburgh, Managing Director of AECC commented:
“AECC are pleased to continue working with Showsec. We have developed a great working system between both companies over the years and are very happy to continue this relationship.”
