Zibrant will be lending its support to Comic Relief’s UK-wide fundraising event Red Nose Day, 15th March, with a series of companywide initiatives.
Culminating in the Harlem Shake at Zibrant’s Derby offices, other activities throughout the day include outrageous fancy dress, tombolas and cake sales. A highlight of the day will be the gunging of Helen McCabe, Global Operations Director, and Stephen Shilling, Finance Director. The two will be doused and soaked subject to minimum funds being raised throughout the day.
Zibrant’s clients and partners are being encouraged to support activities with a joke at the end of each email. The ‘Chuckle For Cash’ initiative will encourage over 4000 email recipients to laugh throughout the day; each laugh raised will see Zibrant donate £1 to the charity.
Zibrant’s previous Red Nose Day activities have in the past helped raise enough money to vaccinate 100 children against deadly diseases like whooping cough and hepatitis B from staff contributions alone.
Fay Sharpe, managing director – sales and marketing at Zibrant, said: “Our charitable giving is integral to our business ethos, and we are delighted that everyone across our offices embraces Red Nose Day.”
