In the ten years since it opened, the Alton Towers Resort Conference Centre has seen the weird, the wonderful and the downright wacky take place. From an exclusive ‘silver screen’ party thrown by Debenhams to reward its employees, to a park buy-out event where John Lewis hosted its annual staff weekend with staff descending on the resort for a weekend of excitement, thrills and magic – no event is too big or too zany for the team to deal with.
To celebrate their 10th Birthday the Alton Towers Resort is offering every delegate attending a residential event throughout June 2013 a special birthday treat (when a minimum of 150 bedrooms are booked). Each delegate will receive a ticket to Alton Towers Theme Park and £10 of Magic Money, which can be spent at any retail or catering outlet within The Resort. Theme park tickets are open-dated and can be used at any time during the 2013 season, giving delegates the chance to ride the resorts new world-first, biggest ever rollercoaster – The Smiler, open from May 2013.
The Resort doesn’t just hold some of the most breathtakingly brilliant events. The launch of exclusive ride hire of Air and Rita saw it introduce ‘Business with a Twist’, allowing corporate occasions to be a little different and certainly memorable. The unveiling of brand new bedrooms including Ice Age Rooms, the Pirate Rooms inspired by Mutiny Bay and 14 exciting new Moon Voyage themed bedrooms add a new dimension to standard 24-hour delegate rates.
To secure this special 10th Birthday offer, events must be booked before 1st June 2013, and take place during June 2013 with a minimum of 150 bedrooms within The Resort booked.
